Navigating the post-secondary pathway can be confusing.  The College Assistance Program (CAP) provides opportunities for students to expand their awareness, plan, research, and select from a wide range of post-secondary options to meet their unique needs. The CAP goal is to guide students and their parents/guardians through the process of find appropriate post-secondary institutions, apply for admission, and apply for financial aid and scholarships.

The FREE Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form is the most vital step in applying for federal grants, work-study, and loans for college all in ONE application. Apply early to maximize your aid opportunity! Opening October 1, 2022 / State Deadline May 15, 2023

Important FAFSA Deadline Reminders:

  • Each college may have its own deadline. 
  • Check with the college(s) you are interested in attending. You may also want to ask your college about its definition of an application deadline. 
  • Is it the date your FAFSA form is processed or the date the college receives your processed FAFSA data
